Important notes:

- Although Google Calendar claims to support subscribing to Outlook Calendar, it never works after the initial sync.
- Some open-source alternative exists, but their setup could be challenging for most people.

1. Sign in to your Google account: Allows ShadowCal to make changes in your Google Calendar.
2. Connect your Outlook Calendar: Using the calendar publish link on Outlook.com

That's it! ShadowCal will start monitoring your Outlook Calendar and automatically copy over any event on your Outlook Calendar to Google Calendar as a shadow event.
Specifically, newly created or updated Outlook events will show up in Google, while deleted Outlook events will disappear from your Google Calendar.
